
JUSTIN ARTER
Director

Justin commenced as a Director of MFI in February 2024.
Justin has over 35 years’ experience employed in the funds management, superannuation and investment banking industry. He retired as CEO of Cbus in May 2023 and has previously held a number of senior roles, including with BlackRock in Australia and overseas and the CEO of Victorian Funds Management Corporation.
Justin has not-for-profit and unlisted company Board and Investment Committee expertise across a number of entities and organisations. He is currently a member of The Ian Potter Museum of Art Board and a director of Geelong Grammar School and Cannatrek Limited.
Justin is a graduate of The University of Melbourne with degrees in Law and Commerce, and attended the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.

MICHAEL KELLY
Chief Investment Officer

Michael joined MFI in 2012 and has been the Company’s Chief Investment Officer since 2015. In this role, Michael is responsible for investment strategy and asset allocation, external fund manager relationships, key direct investment decisions and the day-to-day management of the internal investment team.
Michael has led projects to refresh manager relationships in Asia and developed market listed equities, private equity and liquid credit relationships globally.
Within Australia, Michael is involved in investment decisions across listed equities and various unlisted investments in operating subsidiaries, co-investments and property.
Before joining MFI, Michael worked for eight years in Mergers and Acquisitions advisory at Macquarie Capital. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Commerce (Finance Honours) from the University of Melbourne.

VICTORIA DUTHY
Chief Financial Officer

Victoria joined MFI as Chief Financial Officer in 2017 and is responsible for the leadership of MFI’s finance, operations and other corporate support functions.
Victoria was previously Group Director – Finance at Hastings Funds Management for twelve years and prior to that a member of the assurance team at PwC. She brings deep experience in investment management across both listed and unlisted securities.
Victoria holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

ALEXANDRA MOULE
General Counsel and Company Secretary

Alex joined MFI in 2017 as General Counsel and Company Secretary. In this role, Alex is responsible for managing all legal, governance and company secretarial matters for MFI, its Board and committees. Alex is the primary contact for shareholders and manages shareholder communications and engagement. Alex is also the primary contact for the purposes of MFI’s Whistleblower policy.
Prior to joining MFI, Alex was an Executive Counsel at Herbert Smith Freehills. She was a founding member of the Head Office Advisory team and advised both listed and unlisted clients on a broad range of board, shareholder and employee matters.
Alex holds Bachelors of Law (Honours) and Commerce (Honours) from Monash University.
